Benny Hinn: "I'm Not A Healer"

Well, duh. At least he kind of admitted as much in the interview below:

Benny is also not a prophet or an honest writer. But he definitely is a founding member of the Pulpit Pimps.

AMEN! I'm getting so tired of man making God some 'generic' term like "the divine", "a higher power", etc. It's like God is some kind of 'force' instead of a living being/person. I'm so happy Benny said the name of Jesus. Also Li, I don't get your disclaimer. So you DON'T agree with Benny Hinn's ministry? Bless!

No, I don't, I believe he falls under the Pulpit Pimp category. Too much emphasis on gaining the things we desire- even if it's something not materialistic, like regaining our health.

Please don't misunderstand, I believe God can and does heal today. My problem is the business of healing- books to learn the "gift" of healing, conferences on how to claim it from God- where is this seen in Scripture? Also, his failed prophecies are troubling. Please read this article: http://www.equip.org/hank_speaks_outs/benny-hinn-s-false-prophecies. I linked to it above.

Has God used him to heal and minister in the past? I think so. But God's will is always done. He's used small children, a doubter, a harasser, a murderer, a prostitute, even a bush and a donkey to bring to pass His will.
