Refuting Harold Camping

Sadly, a few people I know are a bit nervous over Harold Camping's "prophecy" that Saturday will mark the beginning of the end. If you are one of them (or know someone who is), check out the short video below. It might help ease your fears.

I remember Camping predicted the same thing in 1994, was it? My parents bought the book. Its cover bore an ominous illustration of the planet earth being struck by a lightning bolt from space. I was 13 and traumatized, until the summer came around. '94 was a very good summer.

How come this guy has ear of so many people? I don't get it; label me as a skeptic. I just hope he helps those that stopped their lives on his account.

K, he has their ear because he has a show on a christian radio station - Family Radio..I think he may be founder or pretty close to it. Most things that air on that station are sound, so ppl automatically believe he's sound also. Ppl need to prove all things...

@Nylse, HI! Welcome to my blog. Good point on mentioning Family Radio. The station does have so many good programs that are theologically sound, I can see why some people would be taken in. That's why people need to learn the Bible for themselves. And to know Christ for themselves!
